Ms. Baylie Rogers

"Hey there! My name is Baylie Rogers, and I'm part of the Social Studies Department here at South Pointe. I grew up in Seneca, SC, and graduated from Seneca Senior High School. I then went to the College of Charleston where I received a Bachelor's degree in History. I moved to Rock Hill in March 2020 with my partner, Dickson, and my dog, Beckett. I then attended Winthrop University where I received a Master's of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) with a concentration on Secondary Social Studies content. For fun, I love to read, go hiking, watch the newest movies/ TV shows, try out new recipes in the kitchen, and sing.

I am currently teaching both sections of CP U.S. History (Survey of American History, and U.S. History and the Constitution), Sociology, and Law Education. I believe in teaching representative social studies so that every student can see themselves in our history, as well as use their social studies knowledge to find their place in society and live engaged and fruitful lives in our country as informed citizens. I am very excited to be a Stallion here at South Pointe this year!"
